Madrid Pride 2027 (MADO): Dates, What’s Actually Confirmed, and How to Land Here
Most pages will give you 2027 dates with total confidence and no source. We’ll do something rarer: tell you exactly what the city has published, what we’re projecting from pattern, and — because this is where we live — how to arrive without spending your first two nights alone in a bar.

When is Madrid Pride 2027?
Madrid Pride 2027 (MADO 2027) is expected to run from Wednesday 30 June to Sunday 4 July 2027, opening with the Pregón at Plaza de Pedro Zerolo on 30 June and peaking with the main march from Atocha to Colón on Saturday 3 July. Madrid’s official tourism board already lists these dates, flagged as pending confirmation.
Madrid Pride — locally called MADO, short for Madrid Orgullo — is the largest Pride celebration in Europe, and it doesn’t behave like the Prides you may know from elsewhere. It isn’t one march and one park. It’s roughly five days of open-air stages scattered across four squares, free to enter, plus an entire neighbourhood that stops functioning as a neighbourhood and becomes something closer to a country.

The stages, as already published: Plaza de Pedro Zerolo from 30 June to 3 July; Plaza del Rey — the women-and-dissidences stage, and by far the most human-sized of the four — from 30 June to 4 July; and Puerta del Sol from 1 to 4 July. The corridor nobody is telling you about
EuroPride Turin ends 26 June. Madrid starts 30 June.
EuroPride 2027 takes place in Turin from 18 to 26 June 2027. Madrid opens four days later. That gap is not a scheduling accident you have to work around — it’s a corridor. Turin to Madrid is a short flight, and doing both in one trip is entirely possible if you plan it now rather than in May.
If you take that route, use the four days in between well: land in Madrid before the crowds, get your bearings while the neighbourhood is still itself, and be a local by the time the stages go up. Arriving early is the single biggest advantage available to a visitor, and almost nobody uses it.
Are the 2027 dates confirmed?
Not definitively — and anyone telling you otherwise is guessing. What exists today is a skeleton published by Madrid’s official tourism board with a “to be confirmed” tag on every line. The full programme — concert lineup, artists, the march’s theme — doesn’t land until spring 2027. In 2026, the lineup started leaking in March and wasn’t finished until well into June.
That said: the pattern has been stable for years. The march falls on the first Saturday of July, and in 2027 that’s the 3rd. Book flights with reasonable confidence. Just don’t get the lineup tattooed yet.
How to actually arrive: five things we learned in 2026
None of this is in the guidebooks, because to know it you have to have walked the neighbourhood for all eleven days. Write it down:
- Chueca metro station closes on the big days. The metro runs late during Pride, which is useless if your own stop is shut for crowd control. Learn these three names now: Tribunal, Banco de España, Sevilla. They’re your way in and out.
- Book accommodation six to nine months out. Chueca and Justicia sell out earlier for Pride week than for any other date in the year, and whatever’s left reprices without shame. January booking and June booking are two different holidays.
- Plaza del Rey is the stage locals actually go to. Women and dissidences, human-sized crowd, you can hear the music and still have a conversation. If the mega-stage at Sol feels like being processed rather than entertained, that’s where to go.
- Rooftops fill at sunset, not at night. In July heat, everyone climbs the moment the temperature breaks. Want a rooftop table? Book, or be up there before 8 PM.
- The best days aren’t the headline days. Tuesday and Wednesday have half the people and twice the neighbourhood. Saturday’s march is something to experience once; the rest of the week is what you’ll actually enjoy.

Everything here is free. The only thing that costs anything is being real.

When is the Madrid Pride 2027 parade?
Expected on Saturday 3 July 2027, the first Saturday of July, running from Atocha to Colón in the late afternoon. Pending official confirmation.
Do I need tickets?
No. The official stages, the march and the street celebrations are free and open. Only private club nights and specific parties charge admission, and those go on sale in the spring.
Can I do EuroPride Turin and Madrid Pride in the same trip?
Yes. EuroPride 2027 runs in Turin from 18 to 26 June, and Madrid opens on 30 June — four days apart, one short flight. It’s the most efficient double-Pride route available in Europe next summer.
Where should I stay?

What’s the difference between MADO and the march?
MADO is the city’s official festival brand — the stages, concerts and programming. The march itself is called by Spain’s LGBTI associations and is a separate, political event that happens in the same week. Both matter, for different reasons.
