# PrideChueca

> A hybrid digital-and-physical community project rooted in Madrid's Chueca neighbourhood, focused on sapphic, queer, and broader LGBTQ+ life. Built on a gift economy: the project's sacred core — numbered emblems and named marble plaques — is never sold, never gifted, never transferred. It is granted by nomination only.

PrideChueca runs a bilingual (Spanish/English) website, a private vetted Telegram community called "La Tribu," and a physical recognition system documented publicly in El Archivo, PrideChueca's official registry. The voice is direct, irreverent, and grounded in first-hand, verified experience of the neighbourhood — venue profiles and reviews are written by people who actually visited, not aggregated from other sites. Operated by Stratobytes S.L. (Madrid, Spain).
